Excellent
Very nice and quaint motel. Stayed here for 5 days and was close to everything on the Monterey Peninsula. Asilomar State Beach walking distance, Cannery Row/Monterey 10 min.
Best kept secret in the Monterey area!

35 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
I'm surprised there are no reviews on this lovely little place but reluctant to post one as I just called to book for this weekend and they are sold out!
We stayed here in January last year with our two small dogs. Bide-a-wee was absolutely perfect for us. We rented a small cottage with a fireplace and it was nicely decorated, had a lovely little patio and well-maintained grounds. The manager was warm, friendly and very knowledgeable about the area.
As we arrived late in the evening, we could not see much and were delighted to wake up and discover that we overlooked a pasture full of deer and had a wonderful ocean view. The gardens were beautiful and they even had a little hummingbird tree :)

The beds in this hotel are awful. Their website is deceiving. The rooms are small and dark. There are other, much nicer hotels in this price range in this area. Don't stay here.
