45 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I have been traveling the US for the past 21 years. I have never had such a POOR experience in all of my travels. Starting from check-in to check-out. It took 5 minutes for the front desk clerk to acknowledge me and another 15 minutes to check me in....between being on the phone and the radio. The hotel bar sits in the lobby and smelled of cigarettes. The rooms were small, filthy and poorly lit. The bathrooms were extremely small and the vanity was outside of the bathroom??? When I checked out and told the desk clerk of my dissatisfaction, she simply stated she was "sorry" and she would let housekeeping know. I suggested that I might receive some sort of discount and she stated "we don't provide discounts for such a problem". They will never see my business again.

The rooms were cramped and worn. In our room the carpets were so dirty that our socks were black on the soles quite quickly. My daughter and her husband had the adjoining room, and it had what appeared to be a urine smell in one corner. The hotel moved them when they pointed it out. I think they rented the room to someone else without cleaning it.
We liked everything, its always clean, people are great, new lounge is really nuice, food is good and service is great, rooms have just about everything you need. We always go there, even if its just for an overnight stay......
