64 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

We recently stayed in BW Gardiner, MT. While the cleaning people kept the room clean, I must say that even though the rugs were vacuumed each day, they were filthy. When I walked around the room in my white socks, you would never know they were white. You might think I was walking in the parking lot in my socks. They were so black. Also, even though our window was never opened, flying bugs came into the room. They flew around the (dirty) widow outside and somehow must have gotten in each night. We kept our drape closed at night, so no light would attract them, but they still came in. One night I was awakened by a bug flying in my ear.

The hot tub in the pool area was so cloudy, I would not go in.

Gardiner reminded me of an old, dirty, western town. VERY DISAPPOINTING. West Yellowstone was a much nicer cleaner town.

With your great location in accessing the park, you would think that more money would be pumped into both the Best Western and to town to clean it up.

We liked this hotel. The view was fantastic. The service is great.

This hotel made me feel inspired: The view of mountains and river was a return to the wilderness feel.

I am very likely to return to the Best Western by Mammoth Hot Springs.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
