Their staff was rude, uninformed, and unavailable. We had to call twice to get our room, even though the rooms had been reserved for a year. When my sister checked in from Indiana, she waited 25 minutes at the desk, where there was a "Be back in a moment" sign. There were five people standing behind her that waited even longer. We had a wedding party and spent over $10,000 at this establishment. Over 25 rooms were rented and the ballroom as well. The security guard used serious profanity in front of my children (including the F word) and told us to get our asses out of the ballroom when we were collecting our decorations after the reception and trying to clean up.
The bathroom from above us leaked into our bathroom. The air conditioner was full of mold. When I went to the desk with complaints, nothing was written down, the girl obviously didn't care. Our family are practically all firefighters from across the country, so of course they noticed that the fire extinguisher was missing from the case in the ballroom. In addition, there was a tornado warning during the reception and no one was warned (there was a death nearby) and the children were in the swimming pool with a wall of glass windows above them.
We were treated rudely, when in fact our list included firefighters, my husband works for the Archdiocese, a retired NFL player and we're all churchgoers. We all have traveled all over the world, our worst experience by far, was here. The customer service is the lowest, they used trashy language, had poor manners, and a lack of concern for their guests.
Their event planning was non-existent, we rented over 25 rooms and traveled from all over the county to be together, and were not even located close together, even though we reserved a year in advance, how hard can this be? Safety and security of guests was evidently not a concern at all.
