We traveled with another couple and picked the location for travel in Vancouver and the general area. My wife was attending a medical convention so it was a vacation and business mix. The room was great and the bed was comfortable. Big room with...

Overall I was pretty impressed - outside and inside were both clean and well kept. I was on the fourth floor, and was pleasantly surprised to find 14 ft ceilings. Room itself was on the small side, but clean and comfortable. One annoyance - they pushed the restaurant next door (Salt and Pepper grill) pretty hard, there were a bunch more local coffee shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk that provide significantly more variety. Only real complaint was location - having not been to Vancouver before I thought uptown meant within walking distance of sights downtown, which wasn't the case.

Stayed here for four nights. Secure underground parking, however, there are more rooms than vehicle parking spaces so arrive before 7PM if you want to be sure of a parking space in the secure area. All rooms have free internet (either by cable or wireless) and there is a internet station in the lobby which costs $6 an hour to use ( I reccomend you bring a laptop if you have one). The room was great, very clean, everything worked etc. Breakfast was good and free, however, the breakfast room only seats about 20 people and on three of the four mornings we had to return to our room to eat the food as there were no seats in the breakfast room. The hotel has lots of convenience shops nearby as well as a large drug store. The local area is OK by day but questionable at night.
Not bad, will go back again the next time I come back to Vancouver again

Okay
Front desk staff needs a class on customer service and people skills. Parking in the garage is a nightmare. Parking is secure but front desk did not tell us the parking garage comes to a dead end with no possible way out, unless you back out....
We were in a "non-smoking" room, but just across the hall was a smoking room, and it smelled awful from our room as if we were in a smoking room, too. That bothered us, but otherwise this hotel was good. The staff was friendly and helped us...
