Staff Friendly! Didn't know Best Western even had a points program, they signed me up and got points starting on my 1st stay! Restaurant food good, happy hour in bar was busy, but could easily find a seat. Will stay there everytime I come through ...
51 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Major problem: even the "non-smoking" rooms reeked of smoke because there were non smoking rooms on the same level as smoking. We had an incident in the atrium (lovely place to mingle with family) because a group of smokers, who claimed that "they came here every year" (so I suppose that means they felt they had some sort of rights), refused to extinguish their smokes when asked politely and made it unbearable for some of our family members (we were gathering for a 65th wedding anniversary) to enjoy themselves. I would not go back to this place with their existing smoking policy...and hence the "cleanliness" rating.

Upon entering staff did not have my mtg. Room ready, said someone else had it. Would not show me another room till I gave my credit card and checked in. I was suppose to have double room on pool side, instead got a king/ coach for 2 women to stay...
57 year old male with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
Great stay for the Family. We always stay there to get away for the weekend. The rooms are very well decorated and the pool and atruim area are great for the family to relax in. The new fitness room is great with free weights and new exercise equipment. The staff that we have encountered is very friendly and accomodating. They also have a great Sunday brunch.
I am very likely
to return to the Best Western SteepleGate Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
