The walls were so thin,I can hear the neighbor coughing most of the night, also I think I got fleas or bed bugs bite, I was so itchy after the night there.

The hotel has a great location and great service to and from the airport. The staff was ok. They did not stock enough breakfast foods for the continental breakfast included or restock.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Best Western Starlite Village.
I might recommend it to friends.

For the most part everything was ok. The day we arrived there was a room service tray in the hall waiting to be picked up in the late afternoon and we were surprised to see that it was still there when we left for supper. The tray was still there the next morning when we checked out. I enjoyed my stay, the room was not exactly what I had reserved online, but it was fine, we were just really surprised that no one had picked up the room service tray.

Okay
The hotel was okay. We booked the hotel with two double beds and a role away bed. When we arrived they told us that we cannot have a role away in the two queen bed room and told us we should have booked directly. I did not think it was...

I liked the beds. It was the most comfortable hotel beds I had slept in years. My room was impeccably clean and had good bathroom fixtures, wireless Internet worked flawlessly and set up easily and the free bottled water was a terrific touch. The exercise room had better than expected equipment. The air conditioners were powerful. The staff went out of their way to give us everything we needed. The shuttle service to the airport was fantastic. The continental breakfast was a bit meager. The hotel restaurant was just a Bennigan's. But I do not choose hotels based on the food. I would stay at this Four Points again in a heartbeat, any time I have to be in Des Moines.
I sensed a coming sea change in hotels' strategies for attracting customers. In the recent past, many hotels I have been seemed to spend huge amounts of money on bells and whistles, extras they could add to a description to puff themselves up, while skimping on the main point of a hotel like providing a comfortable place to sleep and recharge when away from home. Or at least, I hope the Four Points' new mission of fewer frills more core comfort catches on, and becomes cool. Basically, it was as hip as driving an economy car with a luxury interior.
I am very likely
to return to the Best Western Starlite Village.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Excellent
I am now hooked on Sheraton Hotels because of the very comfortable pillow top mattress. The beds look inviting when you walk in the room because of the fluffy comforter and lots of pillows on the bed. The continental breakfast is the only negative ...
