I paid way too much for a room, $134.10 a night with the AAA rate for a room that smelled very musty and had two spiders in the bathroom. When I opened the door to room 128 of the Best Western, the smell hit me right away. The room had a damp feeling and it smelled really musty. This might be due to the water problem that lies right outside the door and along the brick wall.
My husband and I first turned on the air conditioner hoping it would help. We left the room for a few hours to sightsee and when we came back, it was now very cold and damp and the musty smell was worse. I called the front desk to see if we could be moved, but all they had was a smoking room left, which we declined because we aren't smokers. The nice front desk staff offered us some "Febreeze" which I took her up on, but it didn't help. Personally, I would never go back to that particular Best Western.
