Very clean, environmentally sensible, as you can request that bedding not be changed daily, which is unnecessary? No light above and no standard plug in near the desk. Friendly staff, outrageously large free "continental" breakfasts, excellent and...
46 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Our family decided to stay at the Best Western Sonora Oaks while we visited Yosemite Park. Most hotels closer to the Park were out of our budget but the rates at the Best Western Sonora were very reasonable and our stay was very enjoyable. Our room was pool side which was a great treat for our two kids. The room was clean and didn't smell overly disinfected (like so many other hotels do,almost like they're trying to cover something up)! The beds were comfortable and we weren't disturbed by outside noise. The staff was also courteous and helpful to recommend local attractions. The only negative point was that the free continental breakfast was only served in the Pine Tree Restaurant (it shares the parking lot with the hotel). The items from the free breakfast had to be eaten in the restaurant and could not be taken 'to go'. This was inconvenient for our schedule so we had to skip it. Other than this one negative point, I highly recommend this hotel and would definately consider staying there again (we'll just take our own breakfast muffins!).
