A pretty good stay... – Posted Jul 28, 2008

Okay

I was here for a little under 2 weeks. The desk staff were VERY friendly, and the maintenance man was helpful when the dryer broke down. The beds are comfy and the breakfast is pretty good, too. The only complaints I had were the distinct smell of...

HORRIBLE – Posted Apr 26, 2008

Horrible

We have stayed at several motels in the gulfport area during our visits. This one is the only one that we could not find parking after we rented our room. The parties they were having at the motel and the construction next door made for sleepless...

Only stayed because better hotels were booked up. – Posted Mar 13, 2008

Mediocre

When we arrived there was construction going on at hotel next door and I guess all the construction workers were staying at this hotel. People were hanging outside, talking loudly, running up and down the balcony. The beds were very uncomfortable...

Gross.... – Posted Jun 19, 2007

Mediocre

Understanding full well that we booked a budget hotel, all that we DID expect was clean. Well that was not the case. The first set of rooms we were placed in smelled like DOG SHAMPOO. They are located on main level near lobby. Next set of room were...

we got robbed – Posted Sep 23, 2006

Horrible

We got robbed while we slept. We awoke one morning with our door ajar and our wallet and purse missing. Also a camera. When we checked out, we mentioned this to the desk. Their reaction,"Yeah, we heard about that." Management didn't ...

won't go back – Posted Aug 18, 2006

Horrible

The only thing nice about this hotel is the lobby and the pool. The first room we were placed in was full of ants and I even saw one roach. There were dark spots on the walls beside the bed headboards making me think there were bedbugs...we ask to ...

Filthy beds – Posted Jun 25, 2006

Horrible
47 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

We booked two rooms, and one room had a bed that was soaked in urine. They offered to turn the mattress, I asked for a new room. After offering me a smoking room which I couldn't use due to asthma, and a room with one bed for everyone to sleep in, the manager finally put us in another room. The next morning when I asked the manager on duty, for a discount of 1/2 for our trouble, he told me that he didn't believe the bed was wet. We took digital photos of the disgusting mess. He felt that because they reduced the rate by $20 that should make us happy. We had to leave our dinner to come back to the hotel because no one was calling us back to let us know how the situation was being resolved and then move everything from one room to the other. The room that we were given was backed up to the nightclub, so needless to say it wasn't a quiet stay.

Other than being disgusted with our clothes having urine in them that wasn't ours, from sitting on the bed, I was very insulted, he basically called me a liar. I will never recommend BW to anyone else nor will I ever stay with them. Some good it does to be one of their "priority" members. The young people at the front desk were very nice and apologetic, but the manager was a real jerk.

Given hurricane damage, they made the room comfortable. Water was not available. The staff responded to air conditioning problems, albeit slowly.
