Best Western Santee Motel

When I arrived, the cleaning people had left for the day and thought that my room was an overnight so they did not clean it. I told the front desk and they said that they might not be able to do anything about it until the next day, but they would make a note and definately clean it tomorrow.

I didn't mind much and said I was going to eat and that I'd be back. When I got back, the owner's wife was cleaning my room with sincerest apologies.

I chatted with her a little and thanked her very much for doing it. Obviously, it probably should've been cleaned in the first place, but having the owner's wife clean it within 1 hour of me telling someone is great service to me.

The hotel staff was friendly. The room was clean and modern and the price was reasonable.

It is an older motel but clean. It is close to the freeway.

The desk clerk was ill informed. The room was dimly lighted.
