Unhappy with value for dollar expended, mostly due to Travel website advertised rate. Booking direct would have gotten us a better price, but motel is only "so-so". Nothing special.

70 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
We were held up at check in for over $150 more than agreed to on the phone 2 months earlier. The reservation was for 3 rooms which didn't have the amenities agreed to. No microwaves in 2 of the rooms, smoking allowed right outside your window which was the same as smoking inside! Took 20 minutes to check in because we had 3 rooms? There are beautiful motels in Morro Bay - we've stayed there for vacations for 40 years. Never before or again in this motel. All the others have been happy experiences.
