The new waterpark was fun but it was $20 per day per person over and above the already increased room rates. There is no half day or evening rate for the waterpark. It was $80 a day additional for a family of 4. Too many "rules" as well. You cannot take food from the waterpark to the outdoor pool, if you just want to watch your kids you still have to pay to get in, drinks had to be consumed in the food area.
Also, they covered the indoor pool with the new construction. My kids could not swim unless they went in the outdoor pool or down the street to the Fox Ridge Resort. This to me is unacceptable at their price point. You cannot use the hot tub unless you pay to use the water park.
On the plus side, the food, especially the breakfast buffet was great. The food and bar service was fine too. Spa was good as well.

They have a nice staff. They were very accommodating.
After a long day of travel, check-in was made simple. We got a non-smoking room even though we smoke and they provided us with both a balcony and an ashtray to use out there. I wasn't at all put out by not having a smoking room.

The VCR didn't work and they didn't have a replacement. The hotel specializes in family vacations and they should make sure they have extras, because VCR's are very necessary to some families that are traveling.
