The below statement says pretty much all you need to know about how this establishment treats guests ...."If we may suggest in the future, any guest wanting the clearest description of rates and packages should contact either our Reservations Center (our "800" number) or the Hotel - directly." This was a direct quote from the hotel manager on the trip advisor website. And it was made within the last two weeks. I wish I'd read the reviews for this hotel before I made my reservation. If I had I would NEVER stayed at this place. I unforutnaley made my reservation on their website. NO-WHERE on the website does it say theat the indoor pool costs extra. The staff knows it is confusing and they still have done NOTHING about it. All you have to do is read other reviews and you can see that there is plenty of confusion about the rates concerning the pool. In addition, I DID call the hotel directly. I originally used the website to make my reservation, but called the hotel to make a change to our dates. They were very happy to inform me that my rate jumperd from $259 per night to $319 per night. They never said a word about the additional cost for the indoor pool. When I checked in they informed me that the rate for the pool would be an additional $80 per day for a family of four. $400.00 per day to stay and use the pool??????????? Every customer access or sales point should make it PERFECTLY what the rate is otherwise it is called deceptive marketing.
We stayed in a townhouse. The second we walked in, we could smell the mold in the carpeting. The floor in the kitchen area was filthy. My son dropped some water on the floor and I cleaned it up with a paper towel...The paper towel came up BLACK.
I only wish that we could have rated this place ZERO stars

The Highs: views are nice, waterpark is absolutely top notch. The lows: customer service is the worst in the industry. Prices are way too high. Waterpark is extra. The bottom line: If they put their staff through an advanced Best Western customer se

My husband and I stayed at the inn for five wonderful days; wished we could have stayed longer. We are hoping to visit again in the fall. Breakfasts and dinners were fantastic - wished they served lunch! People were very nice, too. Sitting in...

The new waterpark was fun but it was $20 per day per person over and above the already increased room rates. There is no half day or evening rate for the waterpark. It was $80 a day additional for a family of 4. Too many "rules" as well. You cannot take food from the waterpark to the outdoor pool, if you just want to watch your kids you still have to pay to get in, drinks had to be consumed in the food area.
Also, they covered the indoor pool with the new construction. My kids could not swim unless they went in the outdoor pool or down the street to the Fox Ridge Resort. This to me is unacceptable at their price point. You cannot use the hot tub unless you pay to use the water park.
On the plus side, the food, especially the breakfast buffet was great. The food and bar service was fine too. Spa was good as well.
