Our room was sick! Large BLOOD stains on the bed and the walls! The mattresses were 20 old or better. The room was smelly and too hot. The carpet was lumpy and coming up. The rest of the hotel, the water slides and pool, were filthy dirty and in need of repairs. Dirty old leak stains were everywhere though out the hotel on the ceiling and walls. There was trash in the hallways. My kids went to order cheesecake at the hotel resturant and were told they could only get it if they went to the bar! When we complained the staff were VERY rude and when I asked to look at another room they said I could but I had 'better not mess anything up if I didn't want to move to it' I looked and it was just as bad if not worse. This was over the 4th of July and all other motels we tried to move to were booked. So we were stuck there and not one offer to make things better from the Ramkota or their staff. I asked to speak with the manager and they said he was "not in". I couldn't believe it! I have always had a good experience with Best Western... not anymore! Buyer Be Ware! This ruined our 4th of July holiday and a very expensive trip. I have never seen anything like it.

Large rooms Great Pool area for the kids. Bar and dinning in hotel.Not keen on pets that are allowed. Better clean up should be asserted. Great room, staff and very (all around) clean. Didn't like the dogs around us, only because the guests didn't...

This was our second stay at this hotel. It was even better than the first time. The amenities are great and the rooms are very nice and comfortable. We love staying there when in Rapid City.

Everything about the hotel was delightful! We were there for eight days and nights with a large group of veterans for the Annual National Creative Arts Festival.

Pictures looked nice online...the track for our sliding door was broken so our door didn't close, no microwave or fridge in room (should be standard in all rooms), sticky stuff by our beds on the floor, remote control sticky, pool had scum all around the tile, no chairs on our patio. All around a really bad experience with this hotel. Front desk clerks were very nice, rooms were horrible.
