They had our reservations all messed up. The night supervisor was not very helpful but the worker at the check in knew more and helped more. They did not get the rooms ready until two hours later at half past nine o'clock in the evening and we did not get the rooms we reserved. They were overbooked and it was obvious. The room we finally settled on had two double beds not the queen and king single we asked for. The same thing happened with our friends, but they were moved into the correct one the next day of a three day stay. We stayed where we were and we did not get what was reserved. There was a broken chair in the room and a very large oversized table that made it hard to negotiate around. The non smoking room smelt of cigarette smoke coming from the room above, probably from the air vent. It did not happen all the time. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good.

I would not recommend it to friends.

The location was a little scary, but the room accommodations were superb and the front desk personnel were extremely friendly and helpful.
The front desk person greeted me immediately upon arrival at the desk. When I asked for local information I was given maps and directions enthusiastically. I was told to call the hotel if I got lost and they would help me find the way back. They were great.

Was quoted a govnt. rate over the phone (police officer) and booked one room. When we arrived, they would not honor the rate. The office manager basically said, "That is the rate, too bad." She was rude and when we complained with Best Western Corporate, she told them that she did not honor the rate because we did not have ID. That is a lie. A police officer always carries his badge and ID. We are outraged. We had to leave Savannah because we could not find another hotel (all were booked up). We are now attempting to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce.

We stayed in room 114 and found it to be very dirty. A crevice tool on the vacuum would be a great asset. The dust and dirt around the edges of the room was terrible. The door did not seem very secure. The wire mold along the wall was also laden...
