We went to NYC the week before Christmas 2008 and stayed at the BW President. Room was clean, bedding was comfortable, heater worked just fine, and hot water was plentiful for showers AND baths. Staff were very nice and we used the lobby computer to check our email and print our boarding passes. We did notice that at certain times of day, there were lines for checking-in and out, but we did not experience any delay at all. The location cannot be beat and we got a great price on the room.

This is my 5 stay at this BW.No complaints over all still had a very fun time.Hotel mgr.x really went out of her way for us and treated us very well.I would stay there again in a heart beat.

I have stayed there often. The rooms are small, but adequate, no more nor less than in most New York City hotels. It is clean, safe and the rooms are relatively comfortable.

The room was comfortable, but very small. The rate was good since it was during an off season and the hotel is very convenient to Broadway theaters which is the main reason we stay there as well as the rate. We have stayed there many times and we continue to go back since we are satisfied with the hotel. However, we are seriously thinking of staying at a different hotel the next time as this one needs more amenities, a nicer lobby and slightly larger rooms and bathrooms. The front desk staff is pleasant enough, but they do not seem to go out of their way.
