The staff was pleasant. The check-in took a long time, but check-out was faster. The room was quite small, but clean and well kept.

I am not likely to return to the Best Western President.
I would not recommend it to friends.

I found the price high, and the New York city taxes were outrageous. I could not get the movie feature to work on the TV. The location was excellent, but parking was not as expected -- hotelsale.com had stated that parking was free. But it was $24 a day and I was unable to take my car out of the garage unless I was ready to pay another $24 when I re-parked.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Best Western President.

Our heavy wooden valence fell down (crashed) on our first day. We reported it, but it wasn't fixed by the time we left three days later.

The only problem I had on the trip was the parking. I dropped off my car, but then was not allowed to retrieve anything from it without taking the car out and paying the 24 hour price.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: It was a very comfortable atmosphere. I did not have to worry about someone being able to get into my room while I was away. And the lighting in the bedroom was just enough to be comfortable.

I am very likely to return to the Best Western President.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

They need ice machines on every floor. It was annoying to keep having to go up and down an elevator to get ice. Also, there were black specks in the ice.
