The hotel has a great central location. The room was extremely small though.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Best Western President.
I might recommend it to friends.

The hotel was in the Broadway and Times Square area. I got the manager's special for the price. It was a good location.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Best Western President.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The room was comfortable, but very small. The rate was good since it was during an off season and the hotel is very convenient to Broadway theaters which is the main reason we stay there as well as the rate. We have stayed there many times and we continue to go back since we are satisfied with the hotel. However, we are seriously thinking of staying at a different hotel the next time as this one needs more amenities, a nicer lobby and slightly larger rooms and bathrooms. The front desk staff is pleasant enough, but they do not seem to go out of their way.

I am very likely to return to the Best Western President.
I might recommend it to friends.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location.

I booked a twin room for my travelling partner and myself. 2 females - not life partners just travelling partners - and was given a double bed - it took 40 minutes of discussion before they managed to find us a room with 2 beds in it. We stayed 6 nights but only because we had pre-booked and pre-paid and it would have cost too much to find another hotel.

Most of the desk staff need lessons in customer service, the rooms are old, small and smelly. You take your life in your hands using the elevator - it broke down regularly.

We nicknamed it the Worst Western - most people we spoke to agreed with us and I would be surprised if they get more than 1% return business.

The price was reasonable, considering the hotel is located in Times Square. It has recently remodeled and nice rooms. The service at the front desk was helpful and efficient. It was conveniently located.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I am not typically the type of person to complain, but this was the worst experience I have ever had with a hotel and I feel people need to know what they are getting themselves into with this one.

My friends and I booked this hotel because we were told that the mini suite had a king size bed, a double bed, and a sofa bed. We asked the rep several times when booking this just to make sure we had the right accommodations. It wasn't until we got there that we discovered all of the rooms only come with one bed, plus a sofa bed.

We contacted the customer service department and they were extremely rude and were not willing to do anything for us. To make matters worse, we lost our power in our room, had to call downstairs twice, and sat around our room for over an hour waiting for someone to fix the problem. We finally just left the room to tour the city hoping that this would be taken care of upon our return - this did not happen.

Instead, we had to place a third call downstairs and then we were told we needed to be moved into another room with a smaller bed. We had to rush through our room and pack up all of our belongings in a matter of minutes since we had tickets to a Broadway show and they were not willing to hold this room until we returned.

Again, we received no apologies and no compensation for our inconvenience. Trust me, go somewhere else, don't waste your time or money on this hotel.

I liked the front desk personnel, but the buffet was not that good and it was very expensive for what they were serving. The room I stayed in was very small for the price, but other than that, I was relaxed.

The hotel staff was not responsive to any problems. The toilet did not work properly. The staff gave us a plunger to constantly unclog it ourselves. The telephone in the room was not working and the jack was broken. We had asked for a queen size room, when making reservations, and received a full sized bed in a room that was the size of a closet.

I am not likely to return to the Best Western President.

We enjoyed the location. They held our bags while we were sightseeing after checkout.

This hotel made me feel elegant: It was close to Times Square, with a doorman who recognized us on our return from different trips out of the hotel.

The room was not represented accurately. The bed was unusable. The staff, (with the exception of one) was quite unconcerned and did nothing to improve the situation. This is the fourth time I have stayed at that hotel in the last 12 months (I have recommended it to others with whom I have rendezvoused there) and may never stay there again in spite of my 'Platinum' Gold Crown Club status. I just may start looking around for another chain -- perhaps Holiday Inn. I intend to write Best Western about my feelings.

We were very disappointed. The rate was at a rocket high $400 per night, which is insane for a 2-star hotel. We requested two beds, but when we got to the room, there was no room for another bed, the room is horribly tiny.

They also said there's WIFI in the lobby but my Powerbook can't access the internet. The staff knows nothing about the Wifi and couldn't give any help.
