This hotel is close to the airport and away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Honolulu. The nearest supermarket is about a five minute drive away, but there are plenty of convenient stores around if you do not mind taking a short stroll. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It is perfect for someone who just wants a good night sleep but is not too picky about being treated with a four or five star experience.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Best Western Plaza Hotel Honolulu.
I might recommend it to friends.

I was locked out of my room twice in two separate rooms by a low or dead battery in the door lock. Other than that the staff was very nice in taking care of me. It is just that I was tired and wanted to get into my room. The staff did not offer anything for my being locked out for an hour. They even had to change my room.

This hotel made me feel welcome: They had the Aloha Spirit and treated me kindly.

I am very likely to return to the Best Western Plaza Hotel Honolulu.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The staff was very friendly, and helpful. The restaurant and bar and room service were closed because they did not pass an inspection, I was told. The front desk did make recommendations on where to eat, etc. The rooms need updating, there were stains on the comforters, band aids on the ceiling, and hair in the bath room. Bigger bath towels would be nice. The air conditioner never shut off, but staff did bring extra blankets when I asked.

This hotel made me feel respected: When I approached the front desk they let me know they were aware of me, and assisted me as soon as they could.

I am not likely to return to the Best Western Plaza Hotel Honolulu.
I would not recommend it to friends.

The location was near the airport as desired, with free shuttle coming and going. The restaurant offered a ranging menu, but quality was like a cafeteria or a microwave frozen meal. It was not open for breakfast. I recommend others to go out the front door, take a left and eat at the local drive-in restaurant one block up the street. The front desk will recommend and give directions to it.

It was adequate but less friendly than other Honolulu hotels where I have stayed. There was toothpaste in the sink at check in. I have no real complaint or praise.

This was the third time that my husband and I stayed at this hotel and we plan to return again within the next two years. I think that says a lot. The convenience of the bus service and the rooms being big are a big plus in our decision.

L to the street side, instead it faced a 15 foot high wall, not visible to anything, so it doesnt get cleaned. The restuarant lacked any courtesy, the head cook was rude and acted like he was doing me a fdavor to even answer the phone, on sunday, rather.
