Best Western Oritani Hotel

It's a good value for the price.

This hotel made me feel practical: I didn't spend more than I had to to get decent accommodations.

It was a rather nice Best Western hotel, in an area where hotel prices are very high. The desk lamp did not work so I had to move another lamp near the desk in order to work. The hotel was not very crowded and the quietness was appreciated.

The hotel was fine, the check in was quick, the staff was friendly.

My last visit to the Oritani was miserable and I won't go back. The front desk is understaffed and unmotivated. I had problems all weekend long and had to wait until Monday to see a manager. All this place has to offer is a great central location in Hackensack, plus the wonderful Japanese restaurant on-site. But that's not enough to get me to stay there again, sorry.

The room had a stale odor, the bathrooms needed to be redone. I checked several other rooms and their bathrooms were dirty, too and the tile in the tub and the shower was not cleaned.
