Best Western Old Main Lodge Motel

It was convenient because we were visiting our families.

The room was nice, but the bathroom was not especially clean when I checked in. The entry keys did not work on check in and the next day I had to walk to the office again to have them reset. The breakfast bar did not have any fruit cut up, just apples and orange set out. The first day all the food was gone and it had not been replaced timely, the second day was better but still no fruit cut up.

The desk staff and management were very responsive to our requests; the housekeeping staff, however, left much to be desired. The carpeted floor of our room was dirty when we arrived (there was a 16oz water bottle that should have been easy to see by anyone who vacuumed the carpet). After a call to the desk a housekeeper was sent to the room with a vacuum. When they were done, the bottle and some food crumbs the size of a dime and smaller, were still on the floor. After bringing these problems to the attention of management, out next reservations were discounted by 5%.
