42 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I received very poor customer service.
I was in Boise with two colleagues to perform duty for the U.S. Army as an officer. I made my reservation by telephone and clearly informed the hotel clerk that I was in the Army and needed the government rate. The clerk asked me if I wanted a room with two queen beds or one king. I opted for the king. I was not informed there was a price difference.
However, upon checking out, I discovered my per night cost was $17 higher than my two colleagues ($83 per night vs. $66). When I pointed this out to the clerk at check out, she acknowledged the mistake and attempted to fix the bill. However, she did not know how to do it and after about 15 minutes of trying, she told me she'd fax me a corrected bill. I later learned that the manager stated that the hotel would not change the bill.
I should've been told of the higher cost and given the choice. I should be charged the same amount as my colleagues. The amount exceeds my per diem. The hotel should not go back on its word.

46 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
This was an excellent location very near soccer fields. The hotel was very accommodating for a soccer team that included sometimes exuberant girls. They had a great breakfast every morning. It has a friendly staff and is a clean hotel.
I am very likely
to return to the Best Western Northwest Lodge.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
