The Best Western Normandy Inn and Suites is centrally located in the heart of Downtown Minneapolis. The hotel is six blocks from the Metrodome Stadium (Twins and Vikings), and the Minneapolis Convention Center. Overall, the hotel was nice. However, it is not linked to the skyway which would have been nice. Dining at the Landmarc Inn was a little pricey. Food was average/bar food. There was a constant knocking/clanking noise in the wall. Very annoying. ...

Horrible
Stayed here on New Year's Eve. Upon checking in we were given a "letter from the owner". You would think that it would be something welcoming the guest to the hotel, but no, it was a list of reasons for which they would kick you out of the hotel. ...

The hotel was nice but it had no restaurant or bar. There was also a charge for parking in their lot overnight that was not expected. We would have thought that this should be included in the price of the room. The price of the hotel was not worth the stay.

The front desk staff was accommodating. They allowed us to park several hours before check-in. They gave us a map and walking directions to where we wanted to go. They called us a taxi to go to dinner, and had snacks out on the counter when we got back. It was more than I expected from a Best Western.
The front desk staff helped us get around town, and never seemed irritated or hurried with our inquiries.

The room was large and very clean. The pool and hot tub were very nice. The check-in staff were condescending in their attitude and acted like they were doing us a favor by checking us in.

We were charged for parking in the motel parking lot when we were staying there. I could see charging if we did not stay but we did. I think we should have been informed about it when we made the reservation it would have made difference.
We had a poolside room that was very soothing.
