Best Western Moorside Grange Hotel and Spa Hotel - Page 1

Excellent for a peaceful break in rural countryside. Spa facilities are excellent, but watch the plunge pool. Boy! is it cold after a sauna / steam room! Swimming pool a little strange as it seemed to shelve from all directions. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, showers powerful and hot, but only 1 packet of biscuits given each day with tea and coffee facilities. Bar quite expensive but then theres not really anywhere else to go. Had a little difficulty in finding hotel. Sat Nav took us a very strange way. Brekfasts brilliant, very filling and excellent choice of dishes. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Restaurant served delicious food in the evening but is a little costly. Really liked the silly machines dispensing jelly beans, peanuts etc. An excellent base especially if your a walker.

We loved the location, our suite was great, general cleanliness of hotel was good as was the service of all staff we met, we enjoyed the health suite facilities and our 1 hour massage and facial on the Sunday morning. Perphaps the table d'hote menu could be improved on!(more choice I mean), however the food we had was of a good standard, choice of breakfast was great! Cocktail bar (piano) and patio really lovely. We will and have already recommended hotel to family and friends and hope we can return soon!
