The hotel is within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf, Monterey Aquarium, and Cannery Row. It's a short drive to Pebble Beach Golf Course and Carmel-by-the-Sea. There's a heated swimming pool, large lobby area, and dining room for a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast. Our group liked the spacious rooms and ceiling fans. The bed was so comfortable I asked who made the mattress and learned it was manufactured by a local company, Monterey Mattress Company. There are large desks and computer ports in the rooms. I would like to see internet and e-mail access the next time I stay here.
