If you want a hotel with certain modern amenities like a pool and a health club, this isn't it; the hotel was built before those things became popular. That's one reason it's so charming. However, if you're the kind of person who likes to sit in a good hotel restaurant which always seems to have a lot of local people rather than order room service and eat alone, to visit the hotel bar and be part of a nice group, to walk out the door and be in a pleasant neighborhood with a couple of restaurants, a movie theatre and a very pleasant village park, you will enjoy the Mariemont Inn. I have stayed there often. Cincinnati is, in some respects, unique. The culture there is very family oriented, somewhat convervative, almost European in some ways, nice. You are very likely to experience it if you stay in this hotel.
While Mariemont is a suburb, it's only about ten miles from the center of town, via a fast parkway. There is a direct bus to downtown, and taxis are available, so you could stay here without a car almost as easily as downtown, for about half the price for a comparable room.
I am very likely
to return to the Best Western Mariemont Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Okay
We stayed here for our anniversary. It is in a good part of town and the apperance was nice. But it needs some updating. The bed are really hard and limited room services. They are remodeling a wing of the hotel. If I were to come back here (I...
I am a former Cincinnatian who goes to Cincinnati often. I always stay in the Mariemont Inn. When I was growing up it was the place brides and grooms would recommend for their wedding parties, people without guest rooms would recommend to their out of town family members, etc. It hasn't changed much, except perhaps to get even nicer. I've lived in Europe and this hotel is a lot like hotels one finds in provincial European towns. The restaurant is excellent, for price, quality and atmosphere, and this is one of the few hotel restaurants I know of in the U.S. where the locals actually outnumber the hotel guests. It's even popular for breakfast meetings. Stay there.

Great if you're looking for something a little different. Not centrally located, but easy to get into downtown Cincinnati from this place. This was a cute little hotel, with dark but interesting halls and rooms. I really enjoyed my stay here.

I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The location was convenient to a lot of things like fast food places and gas stations. It was clean and the hotel employees were friendly. I really enjoyed my stay there.
It was neat and clean and the bed was quite comfortable. When I needed towels or wake up service I got it quickly. The hotel employees were very familiar with other places of interest to me in the area.
