Best Western Marble Falls Inn Motel

This best western in marble falls...is nasty....the rooms have black mold...every room! It is seeping through the wall paper even. The room I stayed in had rips in the wall paper and I pulled it back a little and it was nothing but black mold. The paper was coming off the walls. The floor was wet where the a\c was leaking. The lady at the front was very rude and I was there for a little over 2 days and they never came in to do clean sheets or clean towels..and there was 2 of us...and only 3 clean towels in the whole room. During the summer...I guess they expect us to shower and swim with using the same towel. The refrigerator would not chill. Will never stay there again! We made friends at the pool and seen their room as well...it also had a problem with wet carpet and black mold coming from the walls through the paper...they need to close the doors to this infested place....nasty as I said in the beginning! Thanks...and reconsider staying there...I would pick a different place...

Just to add...I know Texas has had a lot of rain but they are on a hill and there is no excuse for the amount of nastiness.

I stayed here over the Christmas holidays for four nights. Their breakfast variety was acceptable and the eating area was pleasant. The pool was well maintained.

The rooms however, were old, in poor repair, and dirty. We had to jiggle the handle of the toilet to stop it from running, the tub spout dripped, the tub drain did not work properly, and the sink did not drain properly. The heater was the old window units, that were either too hot or too cold, and noisy.

The hotel is located on a major highway and the road noise went on all night. We had a non-smoking room, however, the room smelled of smoke from the rooms around us leaking into the ventilation system. The carpet was dirty and needed replacing, there were nasty stains on the mattress and dust/dirt everywhere. The hotel stated it had high-speed internet, however this meant wireless only in the rooms and a slow speed of 56 kpm.

I stayed at this Best Western because of its location and the quality I've come to expect from Best Western. It was very clean and comfortable. The front desk personnel were well informed and helpful.

It's a wonderful motel. I will try them again.

This hotel made me feel sophisticated: It was so nice, clean, and the room was large, and well equipped with items not normally found in a motel room. The continental breakfast had an excellent variety as well.
