Room was large, clean and well thought out w/table and desk, a frig and large sink area w/coffee pot and hair dryer. Alarm clock didn't work but wake-up call sufficed. Pool was nice, as was the lobby. Brkfst was typical stuff. Workout room was very...
We stayed at the Lawrence Best Western and to be fair I will say the room was rather large and it was nice that that there was a fridge in the room. HOWEVER, i found the bathroom to be rather nasty, especially the dirty mat in our tub. The tissue holder fell out each time we would reach for a tissue, the pool area was pretty vacant though the hotel was filled but I think that was because the stones and floor in general in the pool area were broken up or dirty looking. If you want extra pillow (which we needed as the pillows were way too soft) or extra towels, you had to go to the front desk to get them and they were not very friendly about it. And the best (worse!) part was when returning to our room after the graduation ceremony, our maid was using the bathroom with the DOOR WIDE OPEN and we had to wait until she was finished (about 10 minutes). I understand when nature calls you have to do your business but then the door (both the bathroom and our room) should have been shut. I will not recommend or ever stay at a Best Western again!

It was located conveniently by several stores, restaurants and a walking distance from the university. They offer a continental breakfast worth the morning rise. The facilities are clean and quiet.

Horrible
My husband and I stayed in this Best Western with our puppy and woke up with itchy little red bites all over our bodies. Luckily our Puppy was in the kennel most of the time, so she wasn't affected. We even found a dead bed bug on top of the sheets. ...

Most of the hotels tend to spend more money on gorgeous lobby and entrance, and less for rooms, but this hotel is more comfortable in the room rather than its lobby. Very-well furnished rooms for the price, but breakfast is OK.

Excellent
The room we were given was really nice. The sofa bed turned out to be an additional queen size bed in an adjoining alcove with its own t.v. The staff was so friendly and helpful, we did not want for anything.
We were in town for a Jayhawk basketball game. Hotel is very easy to find. It is close to campus. Rooms are nice and quiet, even though it is on a busy intersection. Breakfast was good...nice selection of fresh items. Their lobby computers could ...
