Excellent
Everyone at this lodge was constantly trying to make our trip enjoyable. We never had to wait to get anything. I felt like one of the privileged few. The room was awesome, with a great view. The Ribs at the Explorer's Point Restaurant are to die...

If you intend to use the pool, ask for a room in the main building. Otherwise, you will have to walk in the cold in winter to get to the main building and the pool.

I was not happy with the workout room. The treadmill was broken and the weight machine was missing parts. Also, the restaurant that was next door to the hotel which had been recommended by the staff, had terrible service and the food was of less than adequate quality. We did have a nice hotel room, however. It was clean and everything was in working order.

The staff was very pleasant, the rooms were clean, and the pool had the warmest water of any pool I've used - very nice! On a minor down side the curtains blocked the heater and the tile floor was very cold.
