Best Western Iwo Jima Hotel

It looks like they were in the process of doing some remodeling. The room did have a funny smell to it. The slide glass door to the balcony was bolted shut for some odd reason. Other than that, it was a pretty decent hotel considering the price.

The staff was helpful, but the reservation had been entered for the wrong month. The room was under construction at check in.

I expected a basic hotel, but this was the worst hotel I have stayed in.

My room was very dirty and you could hear every neighbor. I couldn't get food (even from a vending machine) after 10 when I arrived. The front desk was helpful and did provide a cookie for me to see me through. I don't understand how they can charge what they do. I would not recommend.

The hotel was very reasonably priced, with a friendly staff and clean and large rooms.

Free parking and free wireless internet connection are wonderful perks. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
