Although it was in the process of installing wifi access to all rooms, resulting in a small degree of unsightliness, it was still clean and attractive. The staff were friendly and helpful; the place was clean and comfortable. Better continental...

Great Location – Posted Jul 29, 2008

Excellent

Hotel Tria is located right off a busy round-about and highway, but there are 2 entrances so if you miss the first you can enter through the starbucks lot which connects directly. There is a stripmall located right next door with a whole foods. This hotel has a great location, from the hotel its a five minute walk to the Alewife T station, you have to walk along the road and over a bridge to get there or there is a shuttle that the hotel provides upon request. Its about 4 stops to Harvard and 6 to Boston Commons. But Alewife is the last stop on the red line so it takes longer to get back to the hotel but it was worth it. The room itself was nothing special but was clean and updated.

snazzy and chic – Posted Jul 20, 2008

Excellent

When I walked in there was lively jazz playing and an ambiance that shouted chic. Great hotel for business travel or couples, but I don't think its super kid friendly. They have a great indoor pool and are located very centrally, next to several throughways.

I have stayed at the hotel twice. It was very nicely decorated. It was close to the T, a drug store a supermarket. The shuttle service was very good and friendly. The room was tastefully decorated and the breakfast was good for the price. I will...

It had a nice continental breakfast with make your own Belgium waffles, a nice pool area and the rooms were nice.

I am very likely to return to the Best Western Hotel Tria.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

Okay
41 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

It was fine. I was given some hassle about a non-smoking room and a stern lecture about using hotel products that were provided in my room, a warning that if I used them, they will charge me an arm and a leg and basically take my first child. Frankly, even if I wanted to use and them buy them, the clerk scared me off of them.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Best Western Hotel Tria.
I might recommend it to friends.

Poor rooms for the price – Posted Jul 21, 2007

Horrible
39 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure

I made the mistake and stayed here on 7/13/07 . First my nephew and his friend broke down so her mom called the Best Western and put the room on her credit card my Nephews friend was told by Best Western that it was all covered. We get there at 3:30 am and then she is told that they needed to see the card. Well I bet if we didnt come there they sure would have charged her mothers card without seeing it the 239.00 . So my Nephew had to put the room on his card but I had a AAA card so that cut the price to 188.00. We go to our room 420 and there is little bits of paper on the floor no biggie. But then we see there is 2 bottles of water in the bathroom? Then at about 5 am I have to use the toilet and it wont flush! I'm sorry but at 5 am I'm not going to bug someone about that so later when we wake up again we did then they moved us to another room with only 1 bed for 4 of us? But they did cut my Nephews bill to 112.00 But I feel it should be cut a lot more since I had to sleep on a darn chair and my 4 year old had to sleep on the floor from 112.00 that really stunk. I am going to try to see what I can do about it!

Good

In for Harvard graduation; wish I found this sooner-good value overall. $12 parking- a bargain in Cambridge! Our cont. b'fast was included tho' I hear they are now charging $5. Not bad. Convenient location if you have a car (tho' nothing charming)...

Would not frequent again – Posted May 04, 2007

Okay

The last straw for me was a mouse in my room last night. Now, rodents are not always indications of a lack of cleanliness, but when the cute mouse ran under the curtain and I pulled the curtain back, I found dust, dirt, and what looked like shredded ...
