40 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
We stayed in three Best Westerns in five days during our vacation. These responses refer to the second (hood river) of those three, which was the worst. The other two (Albany or and Vancouver) were wonderful on their own and heavenly in comparison.
We spent way too much money on the room and meal. Everything seemed to cost more than advertised, either a little bit more or a great deal more. The staff did not seem particularly alert when asked questions.

We stayed in several Best Westerns on that trip and was pleased with all of them. The hood river Best Western was a beautiful setting right on the Columbia river.
It was a comfortable room with an ‘at home’ feeling.
