Stayed for 4 days, room was clean, comfortable and staff was very nice. Pool was over chlorinated, and you can smell the chlorine in the lobby, however, had a great time. Will stay again next year.

It was nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts could have been a little more desirable. The food was not that good, but again I like a nice breakfast when traveling.
The beds were very nice and comfortable.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Best Western Historic Area Inn.
I might recommend it to friends.

The room was rather plain, but clean and neat. Actually, the room could use a paint job. In fact, the hotel could use a paint job outside as well. In spite of that, the convenience of the room grew on us. There was a sofa with a coffee table that we appreciated for lounging. There was also a refrigerator, a microwave oven, and a coffeemaker. All of which we put to good use.
When we checked in, we received lots of good information for tourists, such as maps, shopping, attractions, etc. The hotel is close to restaurants, stores and Colonial Williamsburg.
A pool was available. Even though we didn't use it, we heard other guests using it.
This place was good for the money. I wish we could have stayed longer.

This hotel recently has changed from a Hampton Inn and I had reserved rooms for a bus trip over a year ago. When I heard of the changeover I was very nervous, but after checking in I was very happy.
The lobby is very nice with a hot and cold breakfast buffet every day from 6 am until 10 am. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
Out of 13 rooms, there was only one complaint, there were ants drawn to some crumbs that the occupants had left fallen to the floor. This was discovered after 11 pm and the staff immediately come to the room and vacuumed up the ants.
The hotel had posted signs stating the pool was a bit chilly, apparently they were having problems heating it. But the hot tub was wonderful!
I was very pleased with the accommodations and would stay here again.
