We stayed here for the Gilroy Garlic festival. 1st problem (which was mine) we were booked into a smoking room, we tried calling the front desk and no one answered. we finally just walked down to the desk. we were told they were sold out, no way to ...

Horrible
Can't be talking about the same hotel. My smoke detector beeped all day and noone would change it. After seriously bugging the desk clerk..he told me the hotel had run out of 9-volts and I would have to remove the unit and do without. Great..and I'm ...
hot tub was shut down on memorial Day weekend. No towels left in room (twice).
Girl at desk did not know how to check guests out. Several guests just left plastic keys at desk and walked away without a receipt due to the delays (30 minutes)...
we stayed here for 3 nights in December 2006. the room was nice and comfortable,good loaction for seeing monterey peninsula.Staff friendly and helpfull.good wireless access.

This hotel offers a good value for the money. Checking in took about 30 seconds as my reservation information from this site was 100% correct. My room was always very clean.

great hotel.now called the Salinas Monetery Hoetl,could get confusing.nice clean tidy hotel,friendly helpfull front desk.very near carmel and monterey .
