Best Western Gregory Hotel

If you don't travel by automobile you may be okay. I don't see how they could screw up Heelys or a Razor scooter- unless you let the Valet service take care of them. I have 115 reasons not to trust their Valet service. It's funny when you notice your car parked right in front of the hotel for 2 days straight while they charge you $25/day for the privledge. Less funny when you get a parking violation from the NYPD in the mail 3 weeks later for the parking ticket Hotel Gregory forgot to take care of, or even mention. 3 more weeks, 6 unreturned phone call messages to the hotel manager, and 15 minutes on hold later you hear that they have an issue w/ parking violations for the spots they KEEP using for Valet parking. They might be contesting my ticket right now but they are not sure. They will call be back tomorrow w/ an update. That was yesterday, still nothing. Maybe in another 3 weeks... Subway was close, front desk understaffed, breakfast was free.

It's a great place to stay. They have nice, friendly employees. Parking is a problem if you do not like to use the valet service. They offer a pretty good continental breakfast which is included. The restaurants in the area are widely varied and abundant.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: They made me feel very welcome, always willing to help in any way they could. Suggestions for dinner or lunch were great.

I loved the hotel, it was very beautiful and the staff was very friendly. I had never been to New York before and they made my experience an extremely nice one.

This hotel made me feel pampered: They had just treated us with us in a classy manner. I am not wealthy, I am just a normal working class person and they treated me with respect. It felt great.

I didn't like the way sales tax wasn't quoted in the cost quote.
