I had stayed there before so I knew what to expect.

I was very pleased with all aspects. It was the most convenient location for our needs. I suggest you book far in advance during leaf season.

For Cherokee, which is lacking great places to stay, this one is a good selection because of where it is located.

It’s near the main shopping village and walking distance to a beautiful river to wade in. A few restaurants are nearby and even the hotel has one that is not bad, especially breakfast.

The rooms were spacious and very clean and you get a feeling of mountain atmosphere here as the foothills are in behind the hotel. Best Western always tries hard to accommodate and Cherokee has either old rundown motels or a few newer ones that are all about gambling.

So, for the family who does not want to gamble and just loves the mountains for the atmosphere, then I recommend this place.
