Best Western Golden Lion Hotel

We stayed here for a business trip, and it was awful. The staff was OK, but our room was dirty. The wireless internet connection was nonexistent, and we were on the first floor close to the lobby. We went in to the restaurant and walked back out it smelled so bad. I sent my boss to see the hotel, she said no one from our company would be booked here again.

This hotel was in a very central location for everything I needed to do in Anchorage. I was traveling for business so having high speed internet was nice. The staff was very accommodating and gave me directions to everywhere I needed to go. I would defiantly stay with them again. The staffs made me feel welcome.

When traveling I primarily stay with Best Western and very seldom have any problems. The Golden Lion in Anchorage is very comfortable and the staff bends over backwards to be of assistance. Usually I stay at the Best Western Barratt Inn. Both are very nice.

This hotel made me feel comfortable: They moved us to a room closer to the lobby and elevator as I have problems walking distances. The staff put my request for the change as a priority.

They had a nice bar. It was very convenient to my job site. They had a great sauna.

The hotel wake up service did not work so I got no wake up call to my room. The hotel lobby was dirty. The food service was very basic with high prices which were not justified.
