Nice location, shame about the hotel

This hotel was expensive for what it offers. The room was clean but with an inadequate cooler it was also stuffy and hot.

In-room wifi was advertised but it didn't work. When I asked the reception staff they were disinterested - bit of a shame!

I am not likely to return to the Best Western Fireside Inn.
I would not recommend it to friends.

A Really Nice Place

I stayed here when we visited the amazing Hearst Castle. The hotel had a nice pool, beautiful views of the ocean, and just a cozy and lovely vibe to it. It would really be a nice place for a budget honeymoon. The crashing of the waves, the cries of the gulls, and beautifully appointed rooms. The town of Cambria is also really neat, with all kinds of eclectic shops and a nice small town feeling. I really enjoyed my stay.

The hotel had an excellent beachside location, a fireplace in our room and friendly service. The staff was helpful with information about the area.

I am very likely to return to the Best Western Fireside Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The breakfast was self serve, but the staff maintained the food and the tables. It was a very pleasant breakfast experience.

I am very likely to return to the Best Western Fireside Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The fireplaces were great. The location was ideal and it was real quiet for being near the highway.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Best Western Fireside Inn.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
