In June and July of this year my husband and I, along with another couple, visited several places in California and we spent two days in Napa. While in Napa, we stayed two nights at this hotel. We had an excellent experience there. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly, they made us feel at home. The place is kept extremely well, very clean and nicely decorated, the service is great. We had just spent two nights at the Fairmont, a 5-star hotel in San Francisco, and I can say that I preferred the atmosphere at the Elm House Inn. Nothing extremely luxurious, but the warmth that one feels there is rarely felt in hotels (and I have been in many hotels & motels in the states and abroad); they help make your stay there so pleasant! They serve you an excellent breakfast - homemade muffins and Belgian waffles made just for you! And it's free!! I highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Napa.

The people were great, the room was great, the hotel was great... I would use more adjectives but that really about sums it up. It has the feel and personal attention of a B&B, with the amenities of a hotel. I especially loved the fresh baked cookie
