Okay
Location of hotel is fantastic -- unfortunately, there were no places to eat a quick breakfast. When we visited the hotel hot tub to our disappointment the first night it was out of order and the second day the water wasn't hot - not even close...
32 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
Early May I went to Vancouver, BC on business and stayed at Best Western Downtown Vancouver for two days. Surrounded by beautiful False Creek & located in downtown Vancouver, Best Western Downtown Vancouver is just a short distance away from Stanley Park, the beaches, Granville Island and Canada Place. Their complimentary shuttle bus will drop you at nearby shops, restaurants, attractions or the Cruise Ship Terminal. I really enjoyed the breathtaking views from their rooftop deck days & nights. What is more, I even unwound myself in their rooftop whirlpool while viewing Vancouver's magnificent skyline. I really had a wonderful time out there. I cannot wait to go back there the next time while in Vancouver area.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights during our trip to the west last summer. The room setup was like most of the other Best Western throughout Canada and the states. I cannot comment on the room service because we didn't need anything but the service at the front desk was okay. The only problem was that they didn't have any extra shampoo since we all wanted to use our own. It's a clean and cozy hotel with a pretty decent fitness room. This hotel is close to all the attractions downtown and we would probably come back here next time I'm in vancouver.

I stayed at this hotel during my road trip about 2 months ago and I must say that I was definitely not impressed. I shared the room with a few buddies of mine and they also felt that the service was not really up to standards. We were there for approximately 3 days. One issue we had was that the staff seemed to ignore our signs. I won't say what the problem was but it seems that when we do hang our signs outside our doors, the staff ignores them. The location of the hotel is great since its just downtown. It creates great convenience for us especially when it was our first time visiting the city. Overall, aside from the sub-par service that I received, I believe it isn't a bad hotel. Hopefully the next time I go it will definitely be better.

The room was great. The staff was very accomodating. Apparently this facility has recently been remodeled. My only complaint was that one has to provide his own transportation to and from the hotel. As large as the tourist industry is in Vancouver, one would think the motels/hotels would provide shuttle services to and from the airport or port facilities. When we arrived in Vancouver, we waited in line 3 1/2 hours for a taxi to take us to the hotel.

Horrible
I have stayed in dozens of hotels over the years, and none have been as bad as this. There was no hot water, the beds were lumpy, the lights were not wired properly and worst of all, the on-site restaurant is EXTREMELY unfriendly. They were so rude...

I found this hotel very noisy, even on the 10th floor. Beds are very comfortable, not the pillows. Sink too small, faucet kept poking me in the face when bending over it. Parking garage elevator doesn't go all the way to the level you want, have...
