Best Western Diamond Bar Motel - Page 1

My cousin and his wife reserved and paid for our room in person a month and 1 week in advance it was for a pool side 1st floor room, The night we got there (after a 7 hour flight) they had cancel our reservations and put us in a hwy side room 2nd floor. (and with my husbands bad back and knees it was not a good thing,) they said there had been a mistake in the charges for the room.But they never gave us a call or my cousin to see if we wanted to upgrade. And the worst part is my cousin went there earlyer that day before we got there and they told them yes our pool side room was ready. Needless to say after a long day it was even a longer night the room was very noisey !!!! And they was very rude when we got there not even willing to work with us. we wanted to leave but since the room had been pd for with a credit card. and we didnt give a 48 hr notice there would still be the charge on the card well they didnt give us a 48 hr notice that they had cancle our reservations. So to me thats not good bussiness. I WOULD NOT STAY THERE AGAIN I WOULD RATHER SLEEP ON THE STREET (it wouldn't be any less noisey)

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They resolved a problem we had, quickly.

The first couple of nights we stayed there some of the patrons from a bar next-door where in the hotel parking lot near our rooms. We were concerned about our vehicles safety, and they kept us up.

It had a good breakfast included in price, it had microwave and refrigerator in the room. The hotel was close to the race facility.

This hotel made me feel practical: It was far enough off highway so it was not noisy and there were stores within one quarter of a mile.

I liked the air conditioning -- it was really hot in California.
