Best Western Delaware Inn Hotel - Page 2

We've stayed at this Best Western about twice a year for many years. This time my wife and I felt the room was getting seedier. The staff was very good, polite, and helpful.

This hotel made me feel respected: The front desk person went out of her way to get me directions to a location my wife and I wanted to visit. They made our stay very nice.

The stay was fine. On the second night I had an extra guest in my room. When I informed the desk that next morning to find out about additional charges they told me all was fine. They thanked me for my honesty and did not charge any extra for my two guests.

I advise other guests to avoid the hotel restaurant: the food was average and the waiters spoke broken English. The restaurant has changed hands three times in three years.

The hotel itself was very nice. However, a power outage in the middle of the night created a problem as the hotel had no back up generator. As it was in the middle of a very hot summer we were forced to leave the hotel at 2.00 AM to find somewhere else to stay (as did most of the other guests). The hotel, at first, steadfastly refused ANY kind of refund and the hotel manager was very rude and unhelpful.

It was clean and secure.

My car needed repairs and since it was a sunday, had to stay overnight.

Best western was comfortable and felt safe.

This hotel made me feel pampered: Gave personal directions to where wanted to go.
