The front desk attendant (apparently the only staff member there) spent the first 10 minutes of my arrival on the phone with a guest who was lost en route from the airport; she was kind to give him thorough directions, but I and another guest waited unacknowledged throughout their conversation. As soon as she hung up, the phone rang again and she answered it again before acknowledging us: the guest calling wanted her to supply the phone number for a local pizza delivery, which she provided by offering the names of several chains (like a personal assistant, or someone with a lot of time) and then the phone number for the one chosen.

The lobby and hallways smell like McDonald's (not gross, but still the smell of old fried food) and my room smells like it used to be a smoking room but has had a heavy and consistent dose of Febreze. Turning on the air conditioner to try and freshen the air only made it worse: the damp smell of mildew like summer camp, and then the definite odor of smoke.

The whole hotel seems to be in a state of renewal, but the remnants of its old frame are all too clear: the elevators look beat up, the baseboard pulled up throughout revealing cheap carpet edges and dirty walls beneath the paint line. There is a dent in the room wall where the door lock hits. My room backs up to the elevator shaft, and I can hear the mechanics every time someone changes floors: it sounds like a noisy unbalanced dryer nearly constantly. The bathroom is clean--freshly done, perhaps, and therefore my only smile, since I'm picky with bathrooms--but the toilet was slow to flush (took three times), and there's some kind of gel/stain (looks vaguely like blood, but I'm not looking closely enough to confirm) flung on the wall.

I have spent the entire time since my arrival finding another local hotel; I'll be checking out in the morning and relocating.

When I booked the room, they claimed that since it's prepaid that everything will be ready to go upon arrival. To my surprise, my room was not available and I had to sleep in a double-smoking when I was paying for a king-nonsmoking. After sleeping in there and wondering when I would be able to get the room I was paying for, I went to the front desk and she told me 12 is when check-out is so i had to wait until then, which is understandable. I gave it until 2 and still my room was not ready yet. Finally when I went down the third time they told me no rooms were availabe and went on answering phones and ignored me until they realized I wasn't going to leave. After answering the phones they acknowledged me again and asked, annoyed, why I needed to change my room and as soon as I explained why, magically there was an available room. Then two days into staying in my new room, to my surprise, THERE WAS A HUGE COCKROACH in it!! I went down to the desk and there was no other rooms I could move to and no refund of my money. It is Friday and I came here on Tuesday and I am still not scheduled to leave until next Tuesday, at this point I don't care if I don't get my money back, I'm looking for a different hotel as I speak.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!

very poor when it comes to returning your money its been two months since they been holding 100 dollars for incidentals

Nice and friendly front office staff. I work at the Watermark Comunnity Church and stay here often and get treated like a princess. Full hot breakfast buffet available every morning.
