My experience was positive. They used Serta mattresses and I found them very comfortable. Their free breakfast was very complete and fresh and I enjoyed it.
This hotel made me feel content: The hotel was centrally located and they were complete in their service.

The location was perfect for sightseeing different places in the area. The rates were very good for the area.
This hotel made me feel respected: The staff was friendly and not rude.

I used to be a frequent visitor, but after a nightmare weekend, never again will I stay here. I stayed in the most expensive rooms at the hotel (the pricey casitas) and in less than 48 hours I had to move twice. First the A/C went out (in June), then the next room was invaded by ants (dozens came through an obvious crack in the tile). Not only did the manager, and her secretary, refuse to properly rectify the situation (they only took $10.00 off a $236.00 bill), but the manager kept me waiting in the lobby for over half an hour at the end of my stay and refused to speak to me in person.
The front desk staff and housekeeping personnel tried their best to be helpful, but with such terrible upper management, they are limited in what they can do. I swore I would never stay there again, and I haven't. The last two times I have visited the Verde Valley since that nightmare in June, I stayed at the Comfort Inn in Camp Verde (~15 miles from Cottonwood). It’s much more professionally managed and less expensive. It’s also quicker access to the main freeway (Interstate 17). If you stay at the Best Western and something goes wrong, do not expect management to care about it or do anything to entice repeat business! Stay away!

This motel is right in the center of town, close to Sedona and all Indian sites, yet there were no traffic noises. Fast food was within walking distance. The pool was accessible with a room key and they have laundry facilities. It's clean and neat and cool when outside it's 114 degrees!

This was a 'package deal' that included a daytime train ride and evening cowboy dinner. It was very well done except for some confusion at check in about the 'package. Also at check out of the motel we were not given a printout of the charges for the mot.
