Multi-story motel off 101 freeway. Some rooms with terraces. Check exiting directions prior because freeway section is old and north south exits don't match up. Less traffic than Santa Barbara. Motel has ample parking, internet, cable, comfortable rooms, fridge, vending, guest laundry, pool, small gym, and full-service restaurant bar combo on 3rd level. About 1/2 mile to shopping and 1 mile to beach. Beach shuttle, city, and county buses stop nearby. Amtrak is close to beach. Walk about 30 minutes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Carpinteria Inn. The room was clean and spacious. We ate breakfast at the restaurant and it was delicious. The pool, while not very large, was clean and at a very nice temperature. No one else...

35 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
Small rooms, small pool and jacuzzi but all in all, a good nights rest. I just had expected something different, so I was a little disappointed. Also, I was hoping for a free continental breakfast which they don't have, so it got me out in small town of Carpinteria. Nice town!!
