Poor staff, rude. Obviously dont know what they are doing.
My brother and sister along with my 1 and 9 year old boys and 2 year old niece got stuck on their elevator for over an 1 1/2 . The staff had told me that 911 had been contacted, but I wondered why it was still taking so long so I called 911 myself to see if it had been reported and it was not, 5 min. later after I had called. The Best Western workers, had gotten our family off the elevator. But 911 had showed up and said that they could have had them off in 30 sec. Just rude, didnt want to listen to us. Will never go back.
Never mind to say my 9 year old will never get on an elevator again.

I was provided with a free night's stay at this hotel because I was taking part in a medical study at one of the local medical facilities. My husband and I decided to spend our other 4 days in Boston at the same hotel, instead of moving around. What a disappointment! We arrived on the evening of July 1st and left July 6th. During this time, the weather got up to the 80's, with a high percentage of humidity. Despite this, the hotel lobby, elevator and hallways were not air conditioned! I have made many trips for both business and pleasure and stayed in hotels all over the United States, but have never felt so uncomfortable. Also, the 2 concierges with which we interacted had strong accents and were very difficult to understand. We also had very uncomfortable showers our first morning there, with no hot water available. Luckily, that situation was rectified by the following morning, and we had hot water for the rest of our stay.
The staff was friendly and courteous, and the rooms were clean. I was surprised at how far away from downtown the hotel was, as the person I'd spoken with regarding reservations had said they were "centrally located." It took at least 20-30 minutes to get downtown on the subway on several occasions.

I arrived late at night and the staff was cordial. The cost of this hotel is outrageous for the room it offers. There was no continental breakfast. The tub that had been re-glazed was peeling off real badly and the floor was freezing cold, with no heating fans or bulbs. Also, for the $219.00 per night room charge, it is simply not worth it.
For the breakfast that has become trademarked at Best Western, I was given a coupon for a cup of coffee that was cold and hard toast. Lastly, the parking is an outrageous $17.00 per night in the attached garage. The only plus was the gracious bed that made it a little bit more tolerable after a hard days work.
