No pool. No exercise room. Room keys stopped working spotaneously and had to be recoded. A rude front desk clerk. And they wouldn't let me check into a room that a friend and I were sharing because it was under a friend's name ... even though I had a text on my phone with the confirmation number saying "if you need this". No thanks.

Good
Nice location, very nice restaurant. Not close enough to train station.“Friendly staff with clean and modern facilities. Restaurant needs more publicity, excellent food. Needs to identify with location to nearest "T" station...
This hotel has a lot of very nice amenities, both within the hotel and in the immediate vicinity. The restaurant, fitness room, and hair salon are nice touches. Because of the many nearby hospitals and commercial buildings, there can be a lot of noise from sirens. There are also long-term accommodations, some with kitchen facilities. Convenient to several bus lines and the Green "D" line of the T within walking distance.
The only thing good about this hotel is its location if you have a loved one at one of the hospitals, as it is an easy walk to several major hospitals. We stayed the night before surgery for my partner at Brigham & Women's Hospital and was booked for four nights. I checked out after just one night.
The room was tiny and cramped, desperately needed upgrading as it was worn and tired. I've seen dorm rooms from the 1960's that were better! I couldn't get the internet connection to work, we had to take the top off the toilet to make it stop running after every flush, and the cleaning was superficial, including the discovery of a soggy, moldy coffee packet in the coffeemaker. How dare this hotel charge $189 regular rate and $159 "special medical rate" for this room! Parking is an extra cost as well. I got a much cleaner, nicer room at the Boston Park Plaza for $119 per night and rode the "Green Line" train for the remainder of my stay.
Other than a room, this hotel offers nothing one might seek for amenities. It is dreary! It is adjacent to the Longwood Galleria which has a decent restaurant but is otherwise a small food court like you see in a mall. Unless you absolutely want to or need to be at the hospitals, avoid this hotel!
19 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
My brother and I along with our 2 and 9 year old nephews, and his 3 year old daughter got stuck in the elevator for an hour 1/2. We paged someone threw the buttons on the elevator over 5 times.
Meanwhile my mother, sister, and sister in-law were waiting for us and the kids, they realized it was taking an awful long time. To make a long story short my sister talked to the front desk several times, they told her that help was on the way. After a while she decided to call for herself. 911 said nothing had been reported. They were there 10 minutes later, and said we could have had this open within 30 seconds. I will mention that the hotel had not one staff member even trying to open the elevator, and when it finally opened by itself 5 minutes before 911 got there, two men stood there one w/ his hands in his pockets and another with a note pad. Tell me how hard they were helping.
That was one of the most scariest things thats ever happened to me. My 9 year old nephew was scared to death!

My grand children and great grandchildren had a bad experience.
They were stuck in an elevator for one and a half hours. If it had been me they would have had a real problem as i have panic attacks. This needs to be addressed by owners and staff. Sometimes things like this can be fatal. Do not stay here.

Staff lied about calling 911 to get customers out of a stuck elevator and it took 1 1/2 hours to get them out instead of taking 30 seconds which it should have taken with 911.
