This place was really nice. The town was small and not a lot to do but it's right on the interstate so it's convenient to get to. We were there for a sports tournament in nearby town. The rooms were nice and clean. They also have a pool. There

We have relatives in the area so have stayed here frequently. When it was a Holiday Inn it was excellent. Now it is an absolute DUMP. The room was not clean and had an awful odor. The sheets and pillows smelled. There was no pillow case, just a pillow cover which was not clean. The lady at the front desk was unpleasant and refused to help us find pillow cases. I later learned she was related to the owners. It is a real shame. The place has great potential but we will not return until it is under new management.

This made our 3rd stay at this hotel. the first 2 were very enjoyable but the last one was terrible. the room was full of flies, about 20 were killed after we went to desk and got swatter. the linens were dinghy and very stained. there were tags, and hangers in night stand drawer from someone who stayed there whenever (maybe a week or so). the room apparently was not cleaned very well. the sink had hairs in it. it was noisy, a party was going on , beer drinking, etc. on patio. we will stay in Peoria or somewhere else when we visit relatives in kewanee.

There is not a whole lot around here, but there are a few restaurants. The staff was wonderful! The front desk staff is extremely friendly and hospitable. The rooms were very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family
