world I wanted what i thought i Signed up for. I became irritated and with the young lady who was checking me in. Soon enough the General Manager came in our conversation and I told her what the problem was. She looked and listened to my thoughts and views and looked at their paperwork. She showed me where things went wrong - showed me the online reservation which was made with an online travel website and they had entered it wrong, all the hotel was doing is following what was sent to them, and they had no way of knowing this since the hotel is not whom i had a conversation with. The GM took care of me and did what was needed. When I went to my room, the rooms were more than what I had expected, clean and comfortable. I did some thinking and went downstairs to apologize for my behavior . The GM informed me this is something they go through when the reservations are made on web and guests take their anger out on someone who had nothing to do with the original conversation. I feel for anyone to deal with things face to face but end of the day they are the messenger. I loved the fact they got to the bottom of why this mistake happened. Some may call it confrontational but I like the fact they want to know why this happened and how they can rectify or inform the guest ( me) if is something that i need to do. I can see why this job is so hard... cause it is almost that people take it so personally they forget that one is only doing their job and nothing else. I had a great eyeopening experience - people are nice and friendly, honest.

Since it is the only hotel in town, you are stuck... The customer service is very poor, and they are very argumentative if you need to comment about a problem. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but I would rather drive in from a further point, even in the fog to stay somewhere else. I think the prices are too high for what you get. Hopefully another hotel/motel will come in with some competition and maybe then they will snap into shape and change their attitude.

I liked the remote and quiet location, the considerate guests, the fair breakfast and the cable TV was good.

It was clean and in a nice location.

This hotel made me feel content: It was comfortable.

I stayed three nights and found the hotel to be a good value. The security at this location is a bit strange, as after 10:00 pm there is to access to the main lobby. I did have some trouble getting the key card to work in the east parking lot. Also, the room tables were covered with a light oil that made them look nice, but needed to be cleaned off before use. Overall, it was a nice place to stay for the price.
